Many different types of people have crossed my path during my travels over the years and I have collected many fascinating views concerning food and diet from various cultures. Because of this it has become my desire to get people to think more in one view. When people sit together in a group it is amazing, and so very predictable, that the subject of diet and nutrition will come up sooner or later. You learn quickly that there is confusion. You observe that everybody looks at the subject of – food, quite differently. Many Souls out there are still convinced that the animals roaming our beautiful planet, are here to be eaten by us, that it is their purpose of existence.
The diversity of diets I encountered are plentiful. You have the: Meat eaters, Vegetarians, Vegans, Fruit-arians, Fish-tarians, Macrobiotics, Blood type, Atkins, Paleo diet, Raw-food-ers and I even met a Breath-arian (yes indeed, somebody that almost does not eat and has the skill to take in water and nutrients, purely by disciplined breathing). The list is long, including many more self made diet principles. After many years of self-researching I decided it is time to obtain some credentials to what I believe in. My official educational journey on Diet and Nutrition started many years ago, when I went through the classes of the founder of the Institute for Educational Therapy, IET Mr. Edward Bauman M.ed. Ph.D in California. I felt that his insights were extremely valuable. Through his vast knowledge of health it became clear to me that there is a direct link between diet and disease. His passion for the truth was also very inspiring (his own mother died of cancer) and it became a essential part of my belief as in what a wholesome diet can mean to me, you, and the whole world in general. As my hunger for knowledge continued the Internet provided me with many valuable articles. It inspired me to continue my own research for sensible truth when it comes to a healthy diet. I was still a Vegan and felt at that time that there is still a better way of eating. I found out that I am not alone out there. Many people are seeking for the truth, because they are sick and tired of being chronically ill, and dependent on costly drugs. Four years after this college I decided to go for another diploma, to feel more recognized towards what I am talking about. I obtained a; Vegetarian & Vegan Nutrition diploma from the, StoneBridge College in England. I felt very strongly that I had found my path. Then there is also my own experience. Ever since I started to eat more consciously I became a different person. You honestly feel so much better. Your own body is a great tool to experiment with, it will let you know what foods you should stick with and what other you better never eat again. There is a great saying;
A few years later I obtained two certifications;
Again I felt not satisfied. I knew that there was much more – more science towards what we are suppose to eat. What makes us thrive as a human race? So I decided to go for a few final degrees.
This degree confirmed for me what I knew instinctively; we are all RAW creatures. When true unconditional health is what one looks for, you can only find it in the unadulterated live giving foods. Whole foods that grow all around us, for us to eat and enjoy. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have found this truth. Many different diet philosophies exist out there in our crazy commercial world, but when it comes to nature and sheer logic, one can find truth only in – Natural Hygiene. Thank you for reading Dr. Wilco |
