The knowledge I gained over the years comes from many various sources. There are many books out there and some of them
can give you valuable information towards healthy living. There are a multitude of different views and philosophies and of
course you find the one that speaks to you the most! Much of the information that you can get hold off though can also be very
confusing and miss leading. I have read many books and the wealth of information out there is astonishing but I know now that the
selected books that came to me were suppose to be read and came into my life for that reason. The new comer to the world of
natural health is often confused by the myriad of different diet philosophies out there that all seem to contradict each other.
Every year we hear about a new diet to add to the endless list of those already in existence; Mediterranean, South Beach,
Atkins, Blood Type, Macrobiotics and all of the others that have been long since forgotten. For me it started to get clear
after a while what would suit most people. How did he get to that revelation ? you might ask. Well you gather all the information
you learned and read about, hold it and then sift out the valuable and true ones -- now how do you know what are the true ones?
Always a good question. I feel that it is a matter of listening to your heart or inner self. With that goes a decent doses of logic.
What makes sense these days with so many different people claiming so many different results ? Again I feel it is a matter of
to be able to feel with all your being what makes the most sense. Every subject or believe system in the diet world can find
itself under attack and scrutiny and it is good to do so and after a theory has been lade on the table and its many different
angles are intelligently and logically looked at I feel that after that a objective truth comes out.

Our world is run by money and politics and it has been for decades producing miss information and lies concerning health for the
general population ! For a little insight the food pyramid is a prime example.

fat, doubling fiber intake, eating more produce daily, and recommended to viewing meat as a side dish rather than the main
course, integrating more Vegetarian meals and cutting sodium. Lobbyists from the food industry were up in arms and defended
the status quo. So in 1993 the USDA released a new food pyramid which was en is a updated but watered down " Improvement "
of the 1978 recommendations. The meat and diary industry exerted their power and forced them self into the food pyramid to
play a more prominent part in every

There is much at stake for the huge food producing and pharmaceutical companies and their most powerful weapon is to produce
fear and keep the public miss informed about health & nutrition. The truth being that in most cases the bodies natural system
which is a unbelievable beautiful working mechanism that fine tunes itself constantly can take care of itself and when more
respected can prevent most illnesses if you give it proper nutrition and a good doses of love.
We are not told to trust our bodies -- we are told to run to the doctor who then perscripes a medication that then gets picked
up at the pharmacy. There are billions made in this market.

It is sad and upsetting after learning the real practices of this commercial world but of course we can fight all this with giving
us the information and insights as in what could truly serve us -- how can we reach a higher potential?

Many people have crossed my path during my travels and I have learned so much from so many different onces world over.
When people sit together in a group it is amazing and predictably that the subject of diet and nutrition will come up. Our food
sources are becoming more limited and polluted and so it is a concern for many people who stop to think once and a while about
life and of course naturally need to express these worries !
So much is learned when objectively viewing these concerns and carefully listening to them.

I gained allot of information when I went through the classes of the founder of the Independent school of nutrition, IET,
Mr. Edward Bauman M.ed. Ph.D in California and I felt that his insights were extremely valuable and through his vast knowledge
of health it was proved to me as well the direct link between diet and disease. His passion for the truth was very inspiring and
it became a essential part of my belief as in what a wholesome diet can mean to me, you, and the whole world in general !

As my hunger for knowledge continues the Internet has provided me with many,many articles and it helped me greatly to start
my own research for the truth that makes sense when it comes to diet. I am not alone out there as I found out-- many more
people are seeking for the truth as well and are tired of the condition of our planet and their personal health ! What future will
our children have when we continue to destroy our resources for food? Another little insight is that for example the continental
United States is only sustainable when taking in consideration people and the impact on the planet for 600.000 Souls and
presently it is inhabited by a staggering 295,734,134 !!!

I went for another diploma to feel more recognized as in what I am talking about. I recently finished my; "Vegetarian and Vegan
Consultant diploma " and feel now even stronger in my Vegan shoes that all the things I learned over the years have a strong
foundation and that it was and still is a subject that never stops opening your eyes.

And last but not least there is my own experience. Ever since I started to eat more conscious I became a different person.
You honestly feel so much better. To use your own body is a great way to try things out. I have experimented with the
Vegetarian, Vegan and Raw diet and I am still learning about foods and the effects they have on my being every day. I have
been a Vegan now for the last 13 years and presently it is in the process of being updated. It is not easy to change eating
habits but I know from personal experience that with the right foundation which involves insights of numerous aspects of life
and health that that foundation helps tremendously in supporting your new acquired life style.
